A habitat is a specific locality (home) of a living organism with a set of factors (conditions) in which an organism lives while an ecological niche is that specific place or position with the specific conditions both mutual and immutual where an organism strives to thrive in while in that specific habitat; simply it is the position an organism plays in a an ecological system or habitat, is it a predator or is it serving as the producer.
