1. Community Empowerment can be defined as a process in which a group of people who share common interests, identities and concerns are enabled to have control over decision and factors that affect their lives.
2. Community entry can be defined as activities which initiate, nurture and sustain a desirable relationship such that the interests of a community are enhanced in the different aspects of a programme.
3. Sustainable development can be defined as any development that meets the needs of the current generation without compromising the ability of the future generation to meet their own needs.
4. Participatory evaluation can be defined as a approach in which all the stakeholders of a given programme including the community affected are involved in the assessment and review of the programme.
