In terms of motives the main motive of an entrepreneur is to start a venture by setting up an enterprise in a personal gratification .While the manager render services to the enterprise already set up by someone else such as an entrepreneur.

In terms of status the entrepreneur is the owner of the business venture while manager is the servant in a business venture, owned by entrepreneur.

In terms of risk bearing the entrepreneur being the owner of the business takes all the risk bearing that come out in the business environment while manager does not bear the risk since he or she is a servant.

In terms of reward the entrepreneur being the owner the goods and services earn him or her profit that is highly uncertain while manager get salaries that is fixed and certain.

In terms of innovation the entrepreneur thinks of goods and what he can apply in order to meet the change in demand of them while manager execute the plans prepared by the entrepreneur.Also the entrepreneur acts as a change agent in the business venture.
