Edom was judged for the following reasons;
1. The pride of their hearts. (Obadiah 1:3)
2. Their violent acts toward Israel. (Obadiah 1:10)
3. Their attitude toward Jerusalem's destruction.
They failed to give military support to Jerusalem
when it was wrongly attacked.
They rejoiced when Jerusalem
Was attacked. (Obadiah1;11-12)
4. Their plundering and looting of Jerusalem. (Obadiah 1:13)( see also ezekiel 25:12-14 and ezekiel 35;1-36;7)
5. Their mistreatment of Jerusalem's survivors. (Obadiah 1;14).
