Introduction
Soap spray can be used to control aphids, mealy bugs, spider mites, leaf miners, thrips, whiteflies, armyworms and caterpillars.

Materials used
-Barsoap
-A 20 litre container
-Water
-Knapsack sprayer

Procedure.
-Add a piece of barsoap in the water.
-Allow to settle overnight.
-Mix thoroughly, dilute and spray on the plots.
-The dosage is 5-8g soap per litre of water required to kill aphids and caterpillars.
-Observe the farmland after a week and record your observations.

Precaution.
Detergents are not used as they can scorch plants.
