Now Mary arose in those days and went into hill country quickly to the city of Judah,she entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth.When Mary greeted Elizabeth the child in her womb leaped and she was filled with the holyspirit.She spoke out and said to Mary that she is blessed among women and that the fruit of her womb is also blessed.She asked herself the reason why Mary could visit her and recalled that when Mary greeted her the child in her womb leaped.She stressed on Mary about the need to believe for inorder to attain the prophecy spoken about her concerning birth of Jesus.Mary magnified the Lord and rejoiced in God for regarding her in her humble state. She reflected on the great things that God had done to her and stated that the God is merciful to those who fear him forever.She saw to it that the Lord that the Lord had exalted the humble but rejected the proud.She praised God for his mercies the good news brought to her.Mary recognized God's mercies through her in bringing into fulfilment what was revealed to Abraham and his offsprings.Mary stayed with Elizabeth for a period of three months and went back to her house.
