(i) When creating a chart, you must first decide what figures the chart is to display and which cells contain those figures.
(ii) You should have in mind which type of graph to use and whether it is the appropriate one.
(iii) For non adjacent cells, press the Ctrl key on the keyboard and hold down as you select the rest of the data that is to be included in creation of the chart.
(iv) Decide the chart location by either placing in an empty area of the chart or in a new sheet or on the same page with data as an object.
