Absolute URL is a fully qualified domain name which provides a complete address of a web page that takes a user to the exact directory of a file of a website. It has the format;
Protocol://domain name or IP address /file path
e.g. http://www.jooust.ac.ke/studentsportal/examregistration.html

Relative URL only provides information necessary to locate a resource or file relative to the current document or current server or domain.
e.g. examregistration.html
i.e. click here to register your exams
