Absolute humidity is the condition of atmosphere in which volume of water(vapour) is determined in totality of air.
Relative humidity is defined as the amount of water equal to the amount of air in a given temperature

OR

Absolute humidity is the actual amount of water vapour in a given volume of air at a particular temperature expressed in gm/m³ while relative humidity is the ratio between the absolute humidity of a given mass of air and the maximum amount of water vapour that it can hold at the same temperature.
