Universal donor

a person who can donate blood to any other blood group without agglutination/clumping, this is usually blood group O.

However this person cannot receive blood from other blood groups except group O.

Universal recipient

Can receive blood from all blood groups without agglutination. This is usually blood group AB.

However, can only donate blood to group AB.
