a.) The lead (2) oxide colour changes from yellow to grey. Water vapour formed condenses in the U tube and a gas is collected in the gas jar.

b.) A strip of cobalt chloride paper was dipped into the liquid and it changed it's colour from blue to pink.Thus indicating that the liquid collected in the U tube isvwater.

c.) Water.

d.) 2NH3(g)+ 3PbO(s) —> 3Pb(s) + N2(g) + 3H2O (l)
