• Planning. This is the method used in setting of goals as well as objectives and devising ways and means in achieving. In planning, a school administrator develops ways and means by which the school aims to attain its goals and objectives, this process is a future oriented process.
• Organizing. This involves making arrangement for employees to carry out organizational plans, collecting and putting together both human and material resources.
• Directing. This is a complex management process whose primary purpose is to get people to work effectively and willingly. It consists of stimulating, commanding, influencing, motivating and leading.
• Controlling. This is the process of finding out whether the goals set out to be achieved are being achieved or not, methods used to assess the results of your plan.
