1. Light intensity: The higher the light intensity the higher the rate of photosynthesis up to an optimum temperature.
2. Carbon (IV) oxide concentration: It's a raw material of photosynthesis and as the concentration increases the rate of photosynthesis also increases up to an optimum temperature of 0.1%.
3. Temperature: Very low temperature increases enzymes hence low or no photosynthesis and very high temperature denaturea enzyme and photosynthesis ceases hence optimum temperature should be present that's 30°C.
4. Water availability: Low amount of water in soil cause guard cells to be flaccid enhancing closure of stomata preventing entry of Carbon (IV) oxide.
5. Chlorophyll: High chlorophyll content increases rate of photosynthesis.
