During Ole Kaelo's welcoming party, school children sing.We are told that the uplifting songs had been carefully selected to commemorate Ole Kaelo's return. They sing about how Ole Kaelo takes his cattle to the pastures and brings them back home without losing any.In the song the the young men of Ilm Olelian are urged to go out and meet their returning hero.

They praise Ole Kaelo because despite having stayed in Nakuru where there are people of different cultures ,he comes back home with his daughters having not been married to young men from other tribes with different cultures.

If you listen to the tinkling bells of our cattle,
you will know whether the cattle are going out to the pastures

or on their way back home.

If they are on their way to the pastures,
wait for them,

at the hills of Naituyupaki

If they are streaming back home ,
wait for them at the homestead of Ole Kaelo.
Ole Kaelo took his cattle out to the pastures,

And brought them back home without losing any.

If you listen to the twinkling bells on his cattle,

You will know it is the sound of cattle coming back home .

Young men of Ilmolelian,
Go out and meet your returning hero.

Direct his cattle to enter his homestead,Listen to the tinkling bells of the cattle of Ole Kaelo.

Tenidol eipirri

Nemirr entasat mata olalem

Olalem okordiloki enchashurr

Eitu aikata adol ina kingasia

During Taiyo and Resian's farewell party at the ranch before they leave to go join university, girls from Intapuka -e- maa school sing a song praising them of how they had blossomed despite others doubting them, they sing of how successful they will be building the nation together with men.

we are the blossoms of our land

we are the cream of our generation

we are the future of our nation

we are Intapuka- maa,
where are those whose who used to doubt us?
where are those who thought we were not worthy?
That for us to be worthy we must be cut?
let them come out and see the daughters of maa.

We are proud to be Intoiye nemengalana.
we are proud to be the blossoms of the savannah,
when you come to look for us we shall not be there,
we shall not be found in the dingy, dirty huts.

We shall be doctors, engineers and teachers,
we shall stand side by side with the men
we shall be building our nation together,
we are the blossoms of the savannah!
