(i) A Consolidating Statute: is one which brings together into a single Act of Parliament
the contents of a number of Acts in a particular subject for example the Companies Act,
Cap 486.
It does not usually change the law.

(ii) A codifying statute: is one which arranges all existing law both statutory and case law in
a particular subject into a statutory form.

(iii) It brings together scattered laws in a particular subject for example the Sale of Goods
Act, Cap 31.
