Cyclic peptide (s):It is formed when amino and carboxyl terminals of the peptide are joined by peptide bond. Antibiotic gramicidin –S and tyrocidin are examples.
Toxic peptides: Are peptides acting as toxins. a-Amanitin is toxic peptide present in mush rooms which is responsible for mush room poisoning.
