(i) Has appellate jurisdiction to hear and determine appeals from the court of appeal or from any other court or tribunal as prescribed by an Act of Parliament.

(ii) All courts are bound by the decisions of Supreme Court

(iii) It may perform other functions as prescribed by an Act of Parliament.

(iv) Makes rules for the exercise of its jurisdiction.

(v) Has power to listen to listen to petitions on the interpretation of applications of the constitution.

(vi) Has exclusive original Jurisdiction to hear and determine disputes resulting from the election of the President.

(vii) It provides advisory opinion at request of the National government,county government or any state organ.
