(i) The arbitrator must show that he/she conducted a full inquiry into the circumstances involved before making a decision.

(ii) Justice should not only be done but should be seen to be done.

(iii) The police have no right to beat up a suspect.

(iv) One is considered innocent until proven guilty through an approved legal system.

(v) The arbitrator should not be interested in the matter at hand

(vi) All judicial decisions should be based on law and not on personal interest or political influence.
