(ii) Nurture international co-operation thus solving global economic and social problems.

(iii) Supervision of the territories which had been taken over by League from the Central Powers.

(iv) Promote the respect of the sovereignty of member states.

(v) To secure and maintain fair and humane conditions of labour.

(vi) Need for collective security in the maintenance of peace.

(vii) Maintenance of world peace through peaceful settlement of disputes through negotiation,arbitration and mediation.
