(iii) Loans from the national government which must be approved by the parliament and the county assembly.

(iv) Profits from investments which a county government might undertake.

(v) From national government through equitable fund which amounts to about 15%

(vi) Grants from the national government to marginalised counties after parliamentary approval.

(vii) From property,land,houses,through rents and rates or sale of property.

(viii) Entertainment taxes.

(ix) Sales on cash crops.

(x) Loans or donations from external sources but which must be guaranteed by the national government and approved by the county assembly.
