A contract may be discharged by frustration where it is rendered impossible to perform owing to change of circumstances after its execution.
The list of frustrating circumstances include:-
a. Where it becomes illegal,
b. Where the contract is deprived of its whole commercial purpose.
However,it should be noted that a contract will not be frustrated where there is a fault by either of the parties to it.
