There are two main documents created during the requirements collection and analysis stage, namely the users’ requirements specification and the systems specification.
The users’ requirements specification describes in detail the data to be held in the database and how the data is to be used. The systems specification describes any features to be included in the database system such as the required performance and the levels of security.
