(i) The hygrometer would be used to take the readings on the wet bulb as well readings on the dry bulb thermometer.By working out the difference between the two readings,an interpretation would be done.

(ii) For the rain gauge,the water collecting jar from the metal holder would be removed.The water would then be poured into the measuring cylinder and the readings on the cylinder taken. This would then be interpreted and recorded.
