A land breeze is a mass of cool air blowing from the land to the sea during the night.
The process above takes place at night because the sea heats up slowly compared to the land. When the sea heats up,water vapor is formed thus creating a zone of low pressure in the sea.A mass of cool air therefore blows from the land towards the sea to occupy the space left by the rising water vapour.
