The ideals for democracy are as follows;

Liberty.

whereby each person has ability to make appropriate decisions that will be of great benefit and of value to his or her life.The liberty to make decisions should not affect others in making their own decisions.

Necessity of human rights.

Every person is entitled to his or her rights and they should not be violated.Everyone should be treated in a just and a fair manner regardless of differences in terms of;religion,race,ethnic background, color among others.

Egalitarian principle

Each person from eighteen years old has a right to vote and should effectively exercise his or her democratic right.This is also an indication of patriotism.

Protection of citizens rights by government.

The government has a crucial role of protecting the rights of civilians in the country.This entails fair treatment of all such as as income generating projects that ensures that all citizens are included to participate and acquire finances to enable them meet their needs.Consequences are imposed for anyone who violates the rights.

Obedience to the law.

Everyone in the country is expected to obey the law by adhering to what is included in the the constitution.This is for instance timely paying of taxes as it helps the country to develop and be economically stable.Other example is such as preservation of environment for instance the newly established National environment management authority(NEMA) policy of baning of polythene paper bags.
