1. Temperature - places with extremely high temperatures tend to have little and stunted vegetation such as shrubs and thickets due to excess evaporation of water leaving inadequate water in the soil for growth on the other had area with moderate temperature lead to rapid growth like the tropical forests while too low temperatures also lead to little vegetation growth due to extremely cold with the exception of plants such us cone which can survive in such conditions
2. Light directly affects plant growth by aiding in photosynthesis, well lit area have health vegetation growth compared to dark area which have little vegetation due to the slowed rate of photosynthesis.
3.Air- area where there is enough air circulation have thick vegetation as plants directly benefit form carbon(iv)oxide ,oxygen and nitrogen form the air
