(i) Escarpment and block mountains may form barriers which may prove difficult during the construction of roads and railway.

(ii) Features formed through faulting such as rift valley and others are a tourist attraction which earns the Kenya economy foreign exchange.

(iii) Deep faults created through faulting are passages of stream jets which may be utilized for geothermal power production.

(iv) Sometimes Springs may be formed at the base of escarpments which may attract settlement.

(v) Faulting may lead to formation of lakes which provide water for domestic,irrigation and industrial use.
