Soil texture has three categories. The categories are also called separates.The separates have have different sizes of soil particles.The separates are
Clay,silt and sand. The separates have sizes from 2 mm (millimeters) and below.
1.Clay has smallest particles with a diameter from 0.002mm and below.
2.Silt has soil particles with a diameter of 0.002 to 0.05
3. Sand has soil particles with a diameter of 0.05 to 2mm.
