-The primary education system in Kenya was recommended to be extended from 7 years to 8 years.

-The A level component of secondary education be scrapped, reducing secondary education from six years to four years.

-The above general recommendations led to the establishment of the 8 – 4 – 4 system of education.

-Establishment of the second university in Kenya was recommended. The current – Moi University

-There was recommendation of the formation of the commission for higher education.
