If y = 7 - 4x and

y = 3 - $x^2$ then

7 - 4x = 3 - $x^2$

$x^2$ - 4x + 4 = 0

P = 4;

S = -4;

N = -2-2

($x^2-2$) +(-2+ 4) = 0

x(x-2)-2(x-2) = 0

(x-2)(x-2) = 0

x - 2 = 0

x = 2

y = 3 - 4;

Their point of intersection is

(2,-1)
