Let original price be y.

Profit = 25% if sold at x

i.e x = 1.25y

if selling price = 19.20,

Profit made = 19.20 - y

%profit = ($\frac{19.20-y}{y}$) x 100%

= x%

1920 - 100y = yx

but x = 1.25y

1920 - 100y = y(1.25y)

1920 - 100y = 1.25y2

1.25y2 - 20y + 120y - 1920 = 0

y - 16 = 0 or 1.25y + 120 = 0

y = 16 or -96

x = 1.25 x 16 = 20 (non-negative value)
