At equilibrium,
Sum of clockwise = Sum of anti-clockwise
moments moments

( 2.4 x 0.4) = (F x 0.2) + (2.4 x 0.1) since moments at 30 cm mark acts upward

0.96 = 0.2F + 0.24

0.2F = 0.96 - 0.24

0.2F = 0.72

F = 0.72/0.2
=3.6N
M = F x d

=3.6 x 0.2

=0.72 Nm
