Truly speaking, in real life context, the growing use of computers both in homes, schools and at workplaces has done us more harm than good. This can be attributed to the following reasons:
1. It has resulted to increased moral decay. The use of internet has exposed both the young and the old to immoral visualizations such as pornographic photos and videos, which has tangibly resulted into increased irresponsible sexual activities.
2. The use of computers has led to increased rate of crime. Recent times has been much affected by growing criminal activities, including unethical hacking of personal accounts and scam.
3. Increased health effects. The prolonged use of computers has subjected many people to visual sufferings since the rays emitted by the computer screens are much harmful.
4. High unemployment rates. The use of computer to perform certain works has eliminated labour intensive jobs since computers are regarded as efficient, accurate and cost effective. Therefore, computers has replaced the human labour thus rendering many unemployed.
5. High rate of insecurity. The use of computers has led to the spread of insecurity globally such as terrorism. This is because the youths can easily be accessed online and made to join the malicious groups. Also through the internet, computers can be used to plan for massive attacks, thus subjecting the lives of many to threats.
