i) Aims/ objectives
- Aids in selection of content, specify abilities, objectives selected or craated suggest the subject etc matter and content much, but also the validity and significance of the content chosen needs to be determined i.e. the relevance of content.

ii) Organization of content
- Content should be organized in some form of sequence, taking into account the learners, their academic achievement and interests.

iii) Selection of learning experiences/ Activities
- Content must be presented to the students and students must be engaged with the content, the teachers select instructional methods that will involve the students with content.

iv) Evaluation
- The curriculum planners must determine what Objectives have been accomplished. Evaluation procedure need to designed to evaluate learning outcomes.
