Drawing - Children can be engaged in drawing the shape of the sun

Modelling - learners can be asked to model the sun's shape.

Colouring/ painting
Learners can be engaged in colouring an shape of the sun the right coloured pencils/ crayons

Mosaic - Children can tear, paste and stick a representation of the sun using paper.

Paper folding - Learners can cut fold papers to create a shape of the sun

Weaving - On chipped cut boards using yarn, orange and yellow, the children can warp the yarn all around to create the sun.

ii) Science activities
- Observing and drawing shadows cast by trees and other objects let them make chalk outline, suggest that they revisit their outlines after 30 minutes and observe where the sun is in the sky.

- Evaporation: paint on paper have begun to dry i.e. those placed sunny areas and shaded ares.

- Reflection of the sun's rays using mirror, lamp, torch animals or jacket.

- Recording observation on what they have seen eg retell

- Sitting and standing on a sunny day (how they feel hotness)

- Drying of wet clothes in the sun

- Comparing of objects on the sun and under the shade by touching feeling
