So let ;
Ksh 10 be x
Ksh 5 be 2x
Ksh 1 be y
since they say say there half as many kshs 10 coins as ksh 5
Then we say
2x+x+y=21
5(2x)+10(x)+1(y)=ksh 72
So the simultaneous equation will be
3x+y=21
20x+y=72
Solving as a simultaneous equation gives;
x=3
y=12
So the number of ksh 5 coins he has is 6
