Is Science and religion two warring forces? Defend your answer

-Many think that Science and religion are two warring forces. This may not be true because:

i) Both are seeking for ways of interpreting nature and Gods creation. However, they use different methods of inquiry. E.g. science advocates the use of condoms to avoid HIV AIDS while religion advocates for abstinence among youths.
ii) Science and religion are in a completely ways of understanding reality. It is meaningless to place them in opposition to one another. We can not use religious language to condemn science and vice versa. Rules of science cannot be used to judge rules of religion. E.g. Charles Darwin does not tell us the origin of an atom which genesis gives us-God as the origin of everything.
ii) There is no need of comparing science and religion since they do not belong to the same playing field hence they cannot conflict. Science explains the world empirically while religion goes beyond the physical world.
iii) Science does not seem to be interested in religious questions e.g what is the purpose of life? What is the meaning of life? Why do people die? What happens after death?
iv) Science deals with how things happen in nature, while religion explains why things happen in nature. It is as if where science stops, religion takes over. Science prepares a ground for religion.
v) Religion cannot be indifferent from science and science cannot be separate because. Science produces technology for theologians to use and religion governs morality of scientists.
vi) Religion explains that man is a co-creator of God in Genesis 1 and 2. Hence scientific discoveries are a continuation of the work of God through man. Therefore man should not pretend to have existed without God and thus religion.
vii) Religion and science use different languages, it is unfair to compare the two disciplines.
