File is a cutting tool with multiple teeth like cutting edges used for producing smooth

Parts of the File
- Tang - It is the pointed part which fits in to the wooden handle.
- Tip or point - It is the opposite end of the tang.
- Face or side - This is the broad part of a file with teeth cut on it.
- Edge - It is the safe edge of file which has no teeth.
- Heel - The heel is next to handle of the file with or without teeth.
- Shoulder - The curved part of the file separating the tang from the body.
- Handle - The part which is fitted to the handle made of wood.
