(ii) Danger of land subsidence as tectonic fluids are withdrawn.

(iii) Inadequate capital to develop more plants in Olkaria and other potential areas.

(iv) Low level of technology in exploitation of geothermal power.

(v) Potential areas are scattered and located in remote, sparsely populated which are far from market.
