i) Neutral stimulus - Stimulus which initially does not have the capacity to elicit/ produce a response - sound of a bell before pairing with meat powder

ii) Unconditional stimulus - Stimulus that naturally/ automatically elicits a response - meat powder

iii) Conditioned stimulus - A neutral stimulus that eventually elicits a conditioned response after pairing with unconditioned stimulus.

iv) Unconditional response - Unlearned response as a result of unconditioned stimulus

v) Conditional response - A learned response due to a conditioned stimulus.
