COSMOLOGY
This is the study of the universe (Cosmos). It is trying to explain the origin and nature of the universe.
THEODICY
This is developed out of cosmology. It is related to theology which deals with the inquiries into the ultimate meaning of “being” be it “God”, “Spirit”, or “Supra-sensible” being which cannot be perceived or thought of (Pure Metaphysics).
ONTOLOGY: The study of whatever “is” or “being” that is, of all things living and non- living (all have one thing in common ie “Being”). The study of all that exists in this world is called Ontology.
RATIONALE: This is also called philosophy of the mind. It involves activities of the mind: perceiving, imagining, remembering, feeling, understanding, and willing. It deals with questions pertaining mind and body. It is used to determine whether the mind serves the destruction of the body.
