1. Approach approach conflict- in this type of conflict a choice must be m between two attractive goals
2. Avoidance avoidance conflict- in this type of conflict a choice must be made between two unattractive goals. This is the most unpleasant type of conflict.
3. Approach avoidance conflict- in this type of conflict, a choice must b e made weather to pursue a single goal that has both attractive and unattractive aspects.
4. Double approach avoidance conflict- in this type of conflict a choice must be made between two goals that have attractive and unattractive goals.

a. Between the employer and employee
It can be brought by poor decision making by the manager, poor time management, indiscipline cases, and intoxication by workers and poor performance.
b. Conflicts between parents and children
This includes favoritism of a particular child, poor communication between the parents and their children and poor role modelling by parents.
