b)Branches of Horticulture:
-Nursery management- Involves production of seedlings for use in establishing vegetables,trees and shrubs.
-Arboriculture- Branch of horticulture that deals with urban forests.
-Greenhouse management- Provision of controlled environment in production of horticultural crops.
-Landscape horticulture - the branch of horticulture which includes the design, construction and care of landscapes taking into consideration proper choice of plants and aesthetic effects for homes, businesses and public places.
-Olericulture - the production of vegetables.
-Pomology - the branch of horticulture which deals with fruit production.
-Turf-grass management- Establishment and care of lawns and sports turfs (football pitches, golf courses).
-Viticulture- Branch of horticulture that deals with production of grapes.
-Interior scaping- Branch of horticulture that deals with placement and care of live
