According to the Oxford dictionary, a process is a series of action taken in order to achieve a particular end. Business operation is a process in that it require a lot of planning before one actually decides to engage in business. Before starting the operation, one needs to have an idea of the exactly type of business he or she is capable of handling. it will also require capital which might even need the business operator to go some miles to come up with ways of generating income that will be used to run the business. Looking for a suitable place as well the right market for the business to operate efficiently is also a process which requires alot of research for one to be able to come up with the right decisions. For instance, a person growing tomatoes maybe, may choose a place with numerous hotels as her market place for her tomatoes to have high sales or lets say a person planning to build a petrol station, he or she will probably have to look for a place where people have vehicles or even near a town for the business to thrive as planned.
Before the beginning of the business, one will also be required to plan on how the taxes will be paid as well as registering to various authorities for the business to run well.
In conclusion, business operation will require time to plan everything which makes it a process.
