(ii) Technology: This refers to the application of the ever increasing scientific knowledge, tools and equipment in the provision of goods and services.

(iii) Physical environment: It refers to the geographical physical factors that affect the business operations such as vegetation, soil, water and air.

(iv) The government which constitutes the legal social and cultural environment in which a business operates.

(v) The community which constitutes the social and cultural environment in which the business operates.

(vi) The economy in which the business operates and is dictated by factors such as income of people and their ability to buy.
