2. Western Bantu moved from the inter-lacustrine region (Congo Forest) to East Africa

3. From the DRC, the Bantu moved to East towards East Africa

4. One side of the Bantu moved towards the western shores of L. Victoria region, some groups passed through present day Uganda

5.Other groups proceeded to Kenya and settled in Western Kenya from 1000 AD. They comprised the Western Bantu consisting the Abaluhya, Abagusii, Abakuria and Abasuba.
