i). Backspace key.
It has a backward arrow (<--) marked on it.
v Used to erase characters to the left of the cursor (i.e., from right to left on the same line).
When pressed, it makes the cursor move one space backwards and the immediate letter or number to the left is erased.
ii). Delete (Del) key.
It is used to erase characters to the right of the cursor, (i.e., from left to right).
iii). Insert (Ins) key.
v Used in a word processor to switch between the Insert mode & Overtype mode. When pressed, it helps the user to insert text in the middle of a sentence or replace a character at the cursor position (i.e., overwrite the text).
