Place the mixture in a beaker and cover it with a watch glass,
Heat the mixture , iodine sublimes and is deposited on the watch glass
Add water to the remaining mixture and stir to dissolve sugar
Filter to obtain lead (II) carbonate
Heat the remaining sugar solution until saturation and cool to obtain sugar crystals
