Disciple refers to strategies or measures a teacher may put in place to ensure effective classroom management during learning .
Discipline is among the key components of classroom management strategies.
There are three types of discipline namely
(1)preventive discipline
(2)supportive discipline
(3)corrective discipline

Preventive discipline refers to strategies a teacher put in place to avoid the occurrence of undesirable behaviour.
The strategies may include
(1)fulfilling the needs and interests of every learner.
(2)creating a warm nurturing environment .

Supportive discipline refers to strategies a teacher puts in place when the undesirable behaviour occur and he/she tries to guide the students back to the actual right behaviour .The strategies may include
(I)verbal persuasion

Corrective discipline refers to strategies a teacher may put in place when a behaviour escalates supportive discipline. The strategies may include suspension from school in order to correct a behaviour,weaken or suppress it.
