(i) When Jesus was near Jerusalem, He sent two of His disciples to the village.

(ii) The disciples were to find a colt tied on which no one had ridden.

(iii) They were to untie the colt and bring it to Jesus.

(iv) If asked why they were untying it, they were to say that the master needed it.

(v) The disciples went and found the colt as Jesus had told them.

(vi) The owner asked them why they were untying the colt and they told him what Jesus had said.

(vii) They brought the colt to Jesus.

(viii) They cast their garments upon the colt and set Jesus upon it.

(ix) Jesus rode on the colt as people spread their clothes on the road.

(x) The multitude of the disciples rejoiced and praised God.

(xi) They hailed Jesus as the king who comes in peace.

(xii) Some pharisees asked Jesus to silence the crowd but He told them that even if they kept quiet the stones would cry out.
